All of our applicants are interviewed extensively and are required to provide five references when going through the application process. We want you to feel like you are bringing in an extra family member rather than a random set of hands. We also conduct an in-depth background check and require a healthy medical profile and evaluation before onboarding each Caregiver.
Our years of clinical experience have allowed us to hire the best of the best. We hire based on four tiers: reliability, integrity, competence, and commitment. We pride ourselves on bringing you kind, caring, easy-going, and knowledgeable individuals who respect and love to help families in need.
Originally from New York, Stacey moved to Orange at age twelve. She went through the Amity school system where her three children then followed in her footsteps. Stacey earned her degree in English with a concentration in Communication from Western New England University and later earned a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of New Haven. Her deep-seated roots have kept her in the community where she intends to stay, at least until a warmer climate requires her presence.
While she grew up in the family business, she had no real intention of pursuing it. Stacey taught elementary school prior to starting her family. One day she went to pick up the mail for her mom …and she fell in love with senior care in a way she never anticipated.
Stacey and her parents worked closely for years, sharing the love and respect of the geriatric population. Stacey’s mother lost her battle to cancer in 2019. Stacey chose to carry on her mother’s legacy and in 2020 officially took over ElderCare Services. The decision to move forward was an easy one. ElderCare Services was her mother’s passion and now that passion belongs to Stacey.
In 2019, Stacey acquired another long-standing agency in the Mystic area thus broadening ElderCare Services.
